The Multi-Millionaire (Uneducated) Truck Driver

Is it possible to get rich without a college education? Can an average truck driver become a multi-millionaire? Absolutely!! Everybody knows there are exceptional ways to get rich; lottery winners, professional athletes, celebrities and other high-paid professions. Some people actually get rich by “getting lucky,” and they are certainly the exceptions. But most people who get rich do so by using their smarts and by working hard. Most people who get rich are people who persevered and remained diligent by sticking to a plan.

The unfortunate reality for most people who are rich is something that is blatantly obvious – they are old!! Almost everybody who aspires to be rich (myself included) wishes to get there at the youngest age possible. We want to enjoy our riches while we still have some youth left in us. After all – who wants to be the richest guy (or gal) in the nursing home? I can tell you this much… being the richest will be far better than being the poorest.

So, where am I going with this? Yes – I’m a full-time truck driver for my day job. And I absolutely love it. I work for one of the best companies on the planet and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. But at the same time – I know I can’t achieve the level of wealth that I desire, anytime soon, by working a day job as a truck driver. Will it make me rich someday? Yes! Of course. But I want to achieve wealth and true financial freedom long before I am 65 years old – which is why I’ve been working so hard to create passive income online for the past several years.

Grinding It Out – Inspired by McDonald’s Founder, Ray Kroc

I’ve been side hustling on the internet for over 6 years now – trying to find my way to internet riches that I see so many others achieve. It hasn’t been easy, especially considering that my internet endeavors aren’t exactly at the top of my priority list (family and full-time day job come first). I’ve been ‘grinding it out,’ all these years and I’ve managed to build up a somewhat respectable monthly income. But I still feel like a failure because I haven’t hit the big time yet.

When my monthly net internet income exceeds my day job income on a consistent basis – that’s when I’ll know that I’ve made it. When I’m making more money through my passive income internet endeavors than I do as a (well-paid) truck driver – I’ll know I’ve hit the big time.

And now I have a brand new inspiration – McDonald’s. Specifically, the story of Ray Kroc and how he founded McDonald’s franchises and kick-started the fast food industry in America. Ray Kroc’s vision and his persistence to succeed are something to admire. Here’s how it all began…

Mortgage Crushing Challenge Update #3 – Breaking the $1,000/month Income Barrier

Welcome to my latest update for the 2017 Mortgage Crushing Challenge! In this update, I’ll be covering everything that happened throughout May and June pertaining to this particular niche website. I am greatly encouraged by the progress that the site has made – especially the June income numbers! I wasn’t able to personally work on the site during these 2 months as much as I would have liked. Moving into our new home throughout June put a bit of a damper on that. But my team continued to produce and publish content and I continued some paid traffic testing and the site broke the $1,000 income threshold for the month of June! Not bad for a site that didn’t even exist at the beginning of this year.

The Story of Niche Wolf – Niche Ideas and Keyword Research

It all started in the Niche Site Project 3.0 Facebook group owned by Spencer Haws. I was browsing through one day, as I often do, and came across a post from a guy who was looking to sell his website. I usually ignore those posts because they’re usually people trying to offload their crappy niche websites. But this one was different.

This guy already had his site listed on Flippa and just posted a link to the Flippa listing, within the group, along with a brief description. I checked out the site and I was intrigued! Long story short… I ended up purchasing the site and I completely rebuilt it from the ground up. Keep reading for the longer version of the story…

Adding SSL Certificates (HTTPS) for SEO and Other Benefits

I recently decided to upgrade my security options by adding SSL certificates to all of my good websites. Take a look at the address bar for this page that you are on right now. See the https:// at the beginning of my URL? The ‘s‘ at the end of ‘http‘ means that my website is secure. Most web browsers also show a locked padlock on secure websites. What exactly does this mean?

Your connection to my site is private.
The connection to this site is using a valid, trusted server certificate.
The connection to this site is encrypted and authenticated.
All resources on this page are served securely.

There are a few reasons I decided to implement this added layer of security to my websites. One of the main reasons being that it was extremely easy (and free) to do within my good WP Engine hosting account. I figured, why not try it? After I saw how easy it was to put on one website – I added it to the rest of my good sites that I have on that same hosting account. But it wasn’t until after I added it to my sites that I decided to research and find out exactly what the benefits are. What I found was that some of the most popular SEO blogs that I know of have written on this very topic!
