How Much Money Can I Make Online?

How Much Money Can I Make Online

Including: Yearly Income Numbers – Never Shared Before

It’s funny now – when I think about this question… How Much Money Can I Make Online? It makes me think about the people who are asking this question. Maybe you are one of them! People who are just curious or people who are just getting started with trying to make money online. You want to know the realistic possibilities of how much money can actually be earned online.

All of us who make money online wondered the exact same thing at some point. We all had to start somewhere. We were all beginners or newbies – whatever you want to call it. But for those of us who have been making money online for awhile – it’s sometimes hard to relate to newbies. It’s not easy to recall how little we knew back when we, ourselves, were newbies.

I try my best to remain conscious of this and I try to keep it real here on this blog. There are lots of people who work full-time online and claim to make insanely unbelievable amounts of money. There are even more who work really hard (part-time) and earn next to nothing. That was me for the longest time! I currently fall somewhere in between and I’m about to share some annual numbers that I’ve never really shared before.

Private Label Products to Sell on Amazon FBA – Getting Started

Private Label Products to Sell

I don’t know if you’ve heard or not – but there is a LOT of money being made by people who private label products to sell on Amazon via the FBA platform. Yeah! I’ve heard that too. It’s been really hard to ignore over the past year or so if you hang out in the “make money online” spaces like I do. I read blogs and I listen to podcasts. Most of my focus over the last few years has been around blogging and building niche websites. But even most of the people that I follow in that space have either dived in, or at least talked about private labeling products and selling them on Amazon via FBA.

Throughout most of the past year, I have had to purposely ignore all of the talk and the hype around Amazon FBA. I had specific reasons that I didn’t want anything to do with that type of business. At least not at the time. So, what were those reasons and why did I change my mind? Why am I jumping into the business now?

Getting the Thin Content Penalty from Google

The Thin Content Penalty from Google

This will be an interesting blog post to write to end out 2015. I’ve always stated that I share both my successes (with internet income) and my failures on the blog. But truthfully – I haven’t exactly been eager to share my failures. Why not? Well. To be totally honest – I might have gotten a little greedy. You see, affiliate income from a blog like this can be quite lucrative. When I share tools or services that lead to success and income and show my exact results – people buy those tools or services through my affiliate links and I make money. Sharing my failures (like a thin content penalty) won’t lead to affiliate income – so I simply didn’t write those posts for quite awhile.

I feel like I need to apologize to my loyal/regular readers and subscribers. I’ve totally not been fair to you regarding this matter. And that’s about to change right now. I’ve learned some of my best lessons, when it comes to internet marketing, by failing. Somewhat recently – I experienced one of my biggest failures yet! I might have learned my lesson – and it’s time for me to share it with you so that you don’t make the same mistakes.

[Dumb] Passive Income Report for November 2015

Passive Income Report November 2015

Passive Income Report November 2015Welcome to my [Dumb] Passive Income Report! This blog is all about what I am doing to create several different passive income streams. This monthly income report details my results. I work very hard and dedicate many hours each week to working on my different online endeavors in an attempt to create passive income. So why do I consider it passive income then? Because I am not trading specified amounts of time for a predetermined amount of money like I do at my day job. Most of the income you will see in this report results from work I have done in the past.

Why am I sharing my income publicly? Hopefully to gain credibility with you (the readers) and to maintain a certain degree of accountability for myself. I could blog all day long about what I am doing to create passive income online, including some of my unique strategies. But why would anybody trust me and believe that what I am doing works if I don’t prove it by sharing my results? This is what I mean by gaining credibility and this is one of the main purposes for sharing my income. I also share my failures on the blog, which holds me accountable. Knowing that I will be publishing a monthly income report will keep me motivated to keep pushing forward and plugging away on the things I need to do to create future passive income.

Follow One Course Until Success

Unsatisfied – un·sat·is·fied, ənˈsadəsˌfīd, (adjective). Def: 1. not satisfied.

Unsatisfied is the best word I can think of to describe the results I’ve been able to achieve as far as creating passive income online. Simply stated, per the definition of the word – I’m not satisfied. I get up at 5am almost every single day and work on my websites and try to grow and improve my internet income streams. But quite frankly – my income levels suck! I should be earning more. Much, much more.

So… I’m about to do something drastic! It’s time for me to make a change. A big change. I don’t really like what I’m about to announce. But it needs to be done. In order for me to reach the level of success that I know I’m capable of – I see no other way than to make this extreme and radical move.

Improve Website Speed – Average Page Load Times Under 1 Second on WordPress (even on Bluehost shared hosting)

Website Speed Test

“Your website is faster than 98% of all tested websites”

Website Speed Test

Note: make sure you read (or scroll) all the way to the end of this post to see an even more impressive screenshot!

Now that’s what I’m talking about!! I can’t tell you how long I’ve been obsessed with my website speed and page load times. I thought I had tried just about everything to improve website speed on all of my sites. I’ve even gone to great lengths and went so far as to move several of my sites to one of the best and fastest (and more expensive) hosting providers that exists for WordPress users. I’m currently paying $104 per month for that hosting plan – and I still feel like it’s worth every penny.

But now I feel like I’ve really cracked the code! I’ve finally figured out how to make my sites on WPEngine even faster (average load times under 1 second). But here’s what is even better. It’s working for my sites on Bluehost shared hosting too! I’ve gotten my average load times on my Bluehost sites to under 1 second as well! Many of them are closer to half a second – which is faster than about 95% of ALL tested websites. This is insane!

And here is the very best part. The website speed improvement tips that I’m about to show you can be done completely for free! You too, should be able to get your WordPress site(s) to load in under 1 second – even if you’re on a cheap shared hosting plan.

My Imaginary Experience as a Full Time Internet Marketer

Full Time Internet Marketer

Question: What would I do if I had 2 solid days at home to do internet marketing, during the typical work week (M-F), and I was all alone (meaning my family wasn’t home)?

Full Time Internet Marketer

So yeah, that happened. I took a couple of vacation days this past Thursday and Friday from my truck driving day job. My family was ‘out of town,’ for most of the week – up north at the family farm. Which left me home alone for 2 solid days to do nothing but internet marketing! Yes, I could have driven up north and joined them after work on Wednesday night. But I’ve always wanted to see how much I could accomplish online if I had an entire day or two – rather than just an hour or two per day each morning – which is how I normally ‘work’ online.

So Did I Actually Get Anything Done?

Leading up to these 2 days, I was thinking that I might write and publish an epic monster blog post with my time. Or maybe even create some sort of mini-course that I could sell online. I even did some research on that by listening to a few podcasts (while at day job) on course creation and selling on Udemy.

In reality, I ended up doing the following on Thursday and Friday…

Making Money with Email Lists (Works for Niche Sites too!)

Making Money with Email Lists

“The money is in the list.” You hear that phrase over and over again if you follow any internet marketing blog or podcast. And it’s true! Sure, there are plenty of other ways to make money online. But, making money with email lists has been proven to be extremely effective. It is so effective that it is pretty much mandatory that any and every website owner should be building and growing their email list. I think popular internet marketing blogger, Derek Halpern, said it best when he stated…

If you're not building an email list, you're an idiot. ~ Derek HalpernClick To Tweet
